crepe myrtle leaves turn brown around edges

Brown around the edges and some leaves are completely brown. I water the trees regularly but they look sick. This occurs almost every year at this time. Any suggestions?

Brown crispy leaves is a sign of your tree needing water.

They prefer the soil to be consistently moist. Water deeply to a depth of 6 inches once or twice a month.

Mulching with 2 to 3 inches of hardwood mulch will help with moisture retention.
