Fruits of Pomegranate are not edible.

The fruits of pomegranate are not edible, as their seeds inside are always black. Why? There are two trees of pomegranate at my home, but when both the plants give fruits, firstly the seeds are white from inside and after 2 or 3 days they get black but not red. Then they become inedible, so please tell me what should I do? I will be very thankful to you.

Here are links that may help you pinpoint the issue.
Seeds do normally darken when they are ripe and open to the air. They are generally best eaten right away.
