Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comWe have been having 90 degree weather with heat index of 100+. Our potatoes vines are still green and have some flowers on them. My question is, is this kind of weather going to affect our potatoes and when should they be dug up?

This is tricky since there is really no definitive answer. Potatoes aren’t ready until after the plant dies back, so it’s really just a wait and see kind of thing. Hopefully, if it’s kept well watered from now till harvest time, the potatoes should be fine.
