Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comWe live in zone 10. Plants always look healthy. Never have blooms. Last year had LOTS of flower stalks. ALL died before blooming. Bulbs gave lots of space. Have propagated extensively.

I would look towards lack of moisture, very first! This is the cause, usually. These flowers prefer, consistently moist and well draining soil. After this, I would consider checking the pH of the soil, and nutrient level.
