Stressed Squash Plant in Container

My summer squash is planted in a container with a hibiscus. Could this be causing the stress? Can I replant my squash after it has started to bloom?

Yes, it could. Squash plants require lots of room to grow, especially in containers. Planted with the hibiscus, your squash is continually having to compete for space, water, and nutrients. I would consider separating the two when feasible and repotting or replanting separately elsewhere. You can try transplanting the squash now, but it may die from transplant shock.
