Small Fig Tree Leaves Getting Black Tips

We have noticed that a few leaves on our small fig tree have turned black. Upon looking at the underside, I noticed a faint whitish, dusty appearance, but do not know if that is normal or not. There do not appear to be white flies, as nothing flies away when leaves are touched, etc. I am stumped, even after spending years growing plants in a greenhouse inĀ eastern TN. years ago. This was not in our list of plants.

The black tips are the result of a fungus, likely due to the powdery mildew the tree is experiencing. Treat the tree with neem oil.
