Should I Trim Other Weeds And Grasses Around Wild Lady Slipper Plants?

We have lady slippers growing wild along our township road, should i trim other weeds/grasses around the plants to help them?

While that does seem like it would be helpful, lady slippers are very particular in their cultural needs, so I would not attempt to alter its surroundings.

If there is a native plant society in your area, you might let them know. I'm sure they will want to take photos. It's not every day you see lady slippers in the wild. You are very fortunate, indeed!
