Should I Prune a Lime Tree That Has Lost Most of Its Leaves?

I planted my lime tree in the ground about a month ago and it seemed to be doing well but just this week I have noticed that most of its leaves have fallen off. I have read your tips on watering and fertilizing but wonder if I should also cut back the branches that have no leaves? Will this help or hinder its growth?

It may be suffering from shock. It will start to produce new leaves as soon as it recovers from the shock. I would hold off on the pruning for now. The pruning could stress it more, which would harm it.
