Should I Cut Cape Blanco Sedum Back After Flowering?

My Cape Blanco sedum was compact and beautiful, then yellow flowers emerged. Now that those are dried and brown, should I cut back those stems? Overall the plant looks kind of “leggy” now. We live in the SF Bay Area.

You can, but avoid cutting any green and living material. They will not appreciate cutting any living growth during the heat of summer. Just make sure that you deadhead, only, the flowering stalks for now.

Remember, with this plant, less is more. They perform their best when humans do not interfere with their cycle, at all.
