Shade and slug proof plants

I have an area of shade during most of the day which also protects slugs and snails from the heat and sun. What would be best to plant here?

There are many plants slugs and snails dont like. Here are a few shade lovers: Surprisingly blue hostas, digitalis, euphorbia alchemilla mollis,azaleas and hydrangea
