Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI have grown my own broccoli and broccolini, letting some of them go to seed, and was just wondering how to harvest the seeds to use next year? I am presuming the seeds are in the little seed pods on the top of the plant. At what stage are they ready and what color should they be? At the moment they are a green and soft, so I am thinking that they are not ready yet.

The pods will eventually dry out. This is when they are ready to harvest the seeds. Don’t wait for too long after they dry, as they will burst open shortly after they are dry and ripe. Here is more information: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/vegetables/broccoli/saving-broccoli-seeds.htm [1]
