Sago with 3 male cones

Sago had 3 cones in middle this year. What do I do with the new growth? It seems reasonable that I should take out two and leave one that is closest to center, but I need help.

When removing each cone, hold the cone at the center and snap it off. You can also saw it off at the bottom.
