Sago Palm Maintenance

Can lower sago palm fronds damaged by frost be trimmed? What is best way to remove damaged fronds from sago palm?

Yes, as long as you do not remove the center. Only take off 10 percent of the leaves… meaning if there are 10 leaves, only take one. If there are 100, then take ten, etc. Wait a few days, and take another ten percent. This will reduce the shock of trimming them.
