sago palm

Just recently moved a rather large sago palm (3+ feet across, 3 or so feet high) from a shaded arbor to a greenhouse with 50% shade cloth. I noticed right away that it is getting new leaves, but the fronds of the plant have “flattened out” and there is some yellowing. Could this be just a matter of adjusting to the new surroundings? I water about twice a week, but not heavily. I’m pretty sure it could use a feeding. With what? I live in Oro Valley, Arizona, Zone 9.

Thanks, Linda

Yellowing of leaves could certainly be due to the environmental change. Watering issues can also be indicated by yellowing of the fronds.
Watering may need to be adjusted with the move also.
Check the soil instead of watering on a schedule.
