Rubber Plant

My rubber plant keeps dropping its leaves. I read an article on this site where it says I might be over watering it, but I water it once a week. Can this cause the leaves to fall? Thank you.

You should only water these plants when when the top of the soil is dry. I would suggest letting the plant dry out some before watering again and eventually the leaves should regrow…provided it hasn’t gotten root rot.
