Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comWhat is causing these reddish-brown spots and withering leaves? What can I do to stop this infestation? I love my backyard ivy that grows up a trellis, but the last couple of years these brown spots have begun to appear and keep growing across the leaf until it withers and dies. Someone told me to spray with a soap/water mist. Do you know of anything I can do to combat this and save my ivy?

It’s difficult to say if this is a bacterial or fungal issue.
Remove the leaves and discard.
You can use a fungicide treatment.
