re-planting zoysia plugs

We have a zoysia lawn at our current home, but will be moving into a new construction home in November. Can I transplant zoysia plugs at that late in the year, or can I take plugs from our current lawn and hold them until spring for re-planting? Thanks,
Bill

It is likely that its a little too late in the year, given summer is coming to an end, as these plugs might not have time to get established well enough. Now, on the other hand, taking some indoors until next spring can be a good idea, simply because then you know you at least have some well established plugs. You might even think about doing as many as you can keep up into some 1 gallon pots,or bigger. Just to have some to either plant as is, or to split up into smaller plugs.
