Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI want to plant raspberries in the spring but I must plant them where tomatoes and peppers were planted last year due to lack of space. Is there anything I can do to prevent disease? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Time is needed, at least 4 years, to safely plant new Raspberry plants in the soil that tomatoes and peppers were grown.
Verticillium wilt is likely harbored in the soil and would destroy the plants.

If you would like to plant the raspberries there safely sooner, you can also try solarizing the soil. It only takes one season rather than 4 years. Here is more info on that:
