Pruning Sago Palm

I have a sago palm by my front door, and it is getting awfully big. Is it possible to ‘top’ the palm?

It is generally nor recommended that you prune sago palms for height as this will most likely kill the plant. Sago palms do not respond well to pruning. I am afraid there is not much that can be done to reduce their size.
