I live in a cold country “Sweden” and it can get as low as minus 15 in winter. My plum tree is quite young but the branches are not so strong and tend to bend a lot when carrying fruits. How should I prune the tree?
When is the best time to do it?

Young Trees Should be pruned in early spring, before buds come out. Older trees, however, should be pruned in mid summer. Never prune a plum while it is in flower. Here is an article that will give you more information:
