Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI have pruned my Peonies of dead leaves and stems virtually to the ground and it has left the bulbs slightly exposed. Should i cicer with compost and should I break off the small stems remaining.? Thanking you. Paul H.

You won't have to cut anything off until the start of the growing season, from this point. I would cover the tops of the bulbs with potting soil, or mulch.
