Potted Silver Drop Eucalyptus drying up

We recently purchased a silver drop eucalyptus for our patio. It seemed to do well at first but after about a month and a half it has started to dry up. The leaves are not falling off but everything is wilting and turning crispy. (smells like hobby lobby which wouldn’t be terrible if it weren’t in obvious distress.) It is well drained and watered frequently but I’m not sure if it’s enough. It is in only partial sun in the morning and shade the rest of the day. We live right across the river from Cincinnati so it’s definitely warm and humid out right now. I would like to save it but I’m afraid to do anything to make it worse. The damage appears to be spreading. Help?

This plant likes lots of sun, either bright indirect light or full sun. Eucalyptus plants are drought tolerant, but containers dry out more quickly than the garden. Make sure the potting soil is thoroughly damp by watering until water begins to seep from the drainage holes in the bottom of the pot. Let the potted eucalyptus dry out slightly between waterings.
