Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI was watering my indoor plant and a few of these guys wiggled up to the surface. Unfortunately, I took to the internet and found some awful human infection images and now I’m a bit concerned. Can you shine some light on if this is a harmful or helpful critter? Sincerely, Amanda

It appears to be a worm or larva of some sort. It is very hard to tell which from the photo. I would recommend taking photos and samples up to your local extension service. They may be able to help.
