Portulaca Help

Petunias in the pots are doing extremely good and are expected to maintain a good display for one more month or so till I replace them with Portulaca. But I think it would be too late by then to transplant Portulaca seedlings. Can I transplant Portulaca seedlings in between Petunias in the pots? Will they survive/thrive? Or some other suggestion please.

Why are you replacing your Petunia so early in the season? They should grow and continue to bloom throughout the summer.
Deadheading the spent flowers will help keep them blooming.
Here is a link with more information on the care of Petunias.
Perhaps you can pot up the Moss Rose into another pot, this allows you to enjoy both flowers without disturbing the pot with Petunias.

Thanks. Moss rose is going to be planted in new pots now:) Out of curiosity, my question stays, can moss rose seedlings be planted in between mature petunia plants and yet thrive?
