Ponytail palms

My one foot base container plant has four heads that have all produced stems with seeds from the center of each head. Will the heads continue to produce leaves again? Do I need to cut off the seed producing stems? How will the plant return to normal again?

Yes, the heads will continue to grow and produce leaves after flowering and seed production. They will probably flower again next year too. You can cut off the seedheads if desired, but it’s not necessary. Don’t cut off any of the leaves below or cut into the trunk.
