Pod on desert rose outdoor plants

One of my desert rose plants has several seed pods. How do I know when they are ready to plant and what do I do with them if I don’t want to use them for replanting?

Once the pods have turned brown and dry completely, they can be harvested for growing more plants or simply remove and toss out if you choose not to use the seeds.

Here is information on growing these plants from seed if you choose to do so: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/desert-rose/desert-rose-propagation.htm [1]
