Plants and Mosquitoes

What different plants can I pot for my front porch to help eliminate mosquitoes? It has a slight cove around the door and mosquitoes love to hover there. I live in the Hot Houston, TX area.

The plants themselves can’t kill moquitoes. You actually need to rub the oily leaves on your skin for protection. However, some say it does help to grow certain plants. Here is more:
