Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI’d like to plant 2 mandevillas on an wooden arbor on the north side of our house. That’s the only place I have. Our winters can get down into the 30s at night. Will the plants survive if I cover them and keep them warm like a bougainvillea? Our summers get up into the 100 and above. Is this a good choice or should I plant the bougainvillea instead? They would get some morning sun, but mostly direct afternoon light. Thank you.

No you would need to bring indoors if temperatures drop below 5o degrees.
