Planting green moist popcorn cassia seeds

I had a couple pods when opened were green and moist, not brown and hard. Am I able to plant these green seeds in pots to start inside over the winter? Everything ive read seeds were supposed to be brown and hard and might need scarifying or boiled! Please advise.
Thank you
Leah Gally

Unfortunately, it is not likely to germinate. It doesn’t appear to be fully mature. There is no harm in trying but, don’t be disappointed if they fail to pop. I’m not sure if you have read this particular article yet, but this will describe the process: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/trees/cassia/growing-cassia-trees.htm [1]
