planted squash seeds, thought delicata but looks different

I planted seeds from a squash I ate, was a delicate, but plants look rounder than what I ate. Other squash also planted. Treat as if delicata? Or cross pollinated?

Likely the original squash was a hybrid so the seeds will not match the parent plant.
