Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comMy lavender has sprouted this early bloom, entirely white, looks healthy, the picture was taken on 5th of May, the bloom has no scent. Is it a sport?
Typical blooms are a medium purple with he typical scent – I think this is the common variety of lavender which usually blooms much later in the summer. The plant is about 15 years old, grown in a back garden in a pot, and has never done this before!
And no … These aren’t insect eggs, although at first I thought they were!
Thanks for any thoughts.
