When is the best time to water recently planted plants in the winter? Temperatures go from 50 to 65 degrees in daytime but plummet to 30 to 37 degrees at night.

I will need to know, exactly, which plants that you have in order to give you accurate information. Some plants will continue to grow throughout the winter, while others will go dormant. In dormant plants you will not water very much at all, while those that continue to grow will require regular watering as needed when the soil gets dry.
