Plant but no flowers ..

I took a cutting of a gorgeous spreading/trailing plant 12 months ago, from Portugal.

I think I’ve identified it as an ice plant, and the cutting took off well and now I have a planter full of this beautiful succulent trailing plant – but still no flowers.

Anything I can find says they should be flowering in spring ( they were in full Bloom when I went to Portugal this time last year) but I have zero flowers …. any ideas how i can increase blooms? Or should I just expect them to be much later, in our summer, because we are a cooler country?

Yes! That happens, because weather, climatic condition and soil suitability is required to grow any plant, and if you have grown successfully then you can expect the true production.
Therefore you must try some artificial methods by which the plant can get required climatic condition. you can buy the suitable soil which is required by the plant, or you can find the same variety of plant within your place, I have a good experience with this issue, but in case of many plants I was success.
You should not expect the same blooming quality on your flower plant , as like it was in it’s suitable environment.
Don’t make yourself upset, there will many flowers available within your country. Go for them and continue gardening, go green for healthy environment.
Never give up!
I hope I was able to help you.

You may have too much Nitrogen in your soil, excess nitrogen can give you a lush leafy plant, and no flowers.
Try giving it a dose of phosphorus; bone meal.
