Perennials spreading into my grass

We bought our house a little over a year ago. The previous owners planted several daffodils and iris bulbs. We have a garden bed with decorative rocks surrounded by a cement boarder. The irises have now begun to grow in the grass. Also, the grass is growing in the flower bed. How can I keep both of these under control?

Gardens do require some maintenance. Daffodil and iris bulbs do multiply. If they are spreading into your lawn, and you don’t want them blooming there, you will need to dig them up. You can then relocate them into another part of your garden.

The simplest way to eliminate the grass is to just weed it by pulling it out. If it is growing in the garden bed quite invasively, you may need to remove the rock and add a landscape cloth to eliminate weeds.
