Peach tree flowering, no leaves.

I planted a small peach tree last year,(small, about 5 feet tall) following all the instructions from the nursery. When I thought the tree was dead, (I’m new to this) I go out to my backyard and I see my peach tree full of flowers but only a couple of leaves, just a couple, no more. Is that normal? should I fertilize my tree? temperatures here right now are around 65-75 degrees. Should I spend some of the flowers to get better fruit? What about how much water? Sorry to ask so many questions but I’m really excited that my tree survived my lack of knowledge. thank you.

Many fruits will put out flowers first, and leaves later, including many peaches. There is nothing that you will have to do until next year when it will be fully established. This year, if you want, you can cut just a few inches from each branch tip/tips to help promote branching next year.
