Passion Flower

My neighbor gave me a cutting from her passion flower plant that I saw in bloom and asked for. It took a months and months for it to finally root, but it is now about 18″ high and doing very nicely, but no flowers. I’ve put in the spikes to fertilize, but still nothing – just keeps sprouting and sprouting. What to do?

The soil may have more nitrogen than phosphorus, which is responsible for the blooming. Add some phosphorus rich fertilizer or bone meal to the soil to help with flowering.
