Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comOne of my bushes has several branches in the center of the plant that appear to be dead.
The ones on the outside are fine and blooming. Can you give me any suggestions, I don’t want the bush to completely die.
Thank you,
Kathy Whitaker

If you could include a picture, we can get an ID on the shrub and go from there. It is important to prune out dead wood ASAP as it invites infestations and disease. Look at the dead branches carefully for signs of anything that looks”off”. Are there signs of a burrowing animal: one might have destroyed the root to that part of your shrub. I hope you will write back and include a photo.
