Okra With Cucumber N Hot Pepper

Hi i have raised bed ( 8 inch deep , 2 ft wide , 3.5 feet long) , i am using used raised bed soil mix in it How many burpless bush cucumbers plants n okra plants can fit in it with one green chilli plant on corner Just little info: m growing okra n cucumber together bcoz they both need more water n green chilli to repel insects, If anyone can also guide me what to plant from northeast to south direction.in few short lines .

Unfortunately, you will not be able to fit all of them in there. It is a little shallow for peppers, though you could grow two plants by themselves. They would not get as big as they would in a 15 inch container depth, but they will produce.

You could plant two cucumber plants, alone, and they would do fine.

You could, also, plant 2 okra and they would be comfortable.

You could do any two of them together, but attempting three plants in that bed would be too much. You could put some smaller plants in the undercarriage, but any more than two large plants would be too much for that container.

As for the area in the picture that is in ground, rather than raised bed- You could fit 3 larger plants in that, uncontained, ground. The roots will have plenty of room to spread, unless you have plastic underneath. In this case you may be limited by your depth, still.
