Norway Maple

Wrong! Please don’t promote Norway Maple! It is a horrible invasive weed in North America. At the same time, it grows poorly in urban settings and often ends up rotting with large branches falling off, doing untold damage, and then has to be removed. In order to include information for ALL gardeners, we must include information for those that wish to grow this tree in order to be considerate of our entire audience.

Almost all plants and trees have the capacity to become invasive given the proper environment, and it is up to each individual as a responsible gardener to do proper research before planting any plant.
