No Flower on My Giant Sunflower

I have 5 giant sunflower plants I grew from seed. They are now about 10 feet tall, but no flowers. I notice my neighbors have sunflowers (not giants) and their plants all have really great flowers full of seeds. Should I pull them out now that it is the end of July or wait and see?

You should at least be able to see a flower bud by now. Examine the top of one and see if you see damage. It is possible that a squirrel ate the flower bud off. If you don’t see any damage, wait a bit longer. It may be just a slow starters.
