Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI bought a gallon size rose bush called “Austrian Copper” planted it 7 weeks ago and still do not see any buds on the shrub, only leaves. Why is this happening? Would it have something to do with soil?

It can take a couple months, to even three months, for some roses to get their root zone going well enough to get new growth going and then form up buds. Water the rosebush with some water that has both a root stimulator and a product called super thrive in it. Do this same mix for watering the next 4 to 5 times the bush needs watering. This will get the root zone going well so that the top part can dazzle you.
