Need to prune Crown of Thorns – grown over 3 feet this summer outside. When and where can I prune these branches? I need to

bring it inside soon, as it resides in my bathtub under a skylight. It does fine all winter. However it is now huge.

They are not fussy about pruning. They will harm you before you could harm them from pruning, as they have spines and toxic sap. Just make sure that you wear protection so that you do not get the sap on your skin.
