Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI live in New Jersey, and years ago I planted some cactus seeds. The only one that survived is a saguaro. I’m not sure why, probably due to my being a clueless plant person, the saguaro grew with a base so narrow that the cactus can’t suport itself. I transplanted it into a much deeper pot, and it is growing nicely, including sprouting an arm at the top. Is there some way I can construct something to support the base? I currently have stakes holding it up, but the arrangement is very precarious.
