My roses have black spots on leafs as well as on rose petals

My roses have black spots on leafs as well as on rose petals,
One of my friend suggests to use Vinegar & mixed with water & spray. What is your opinion?
Please suggest something to get rid off the above problem.

I will appreciate your reply.
Thanks

Om

Thank you for your question Om.

The black spot fungus can be killed using a fungicide called Mancozeb, mix it up and spray it on the rosebushes every 7 to 10 days for four or five sprayings. The infected foliage marks will not go away but new foliage coming forth should be free of the marks if it has been killed. The Mancozeb fungicide can be purchased at Amazon.com. As a preventative once the black spot has been controlled and sometimes a fungicide that will kill the black spot fungus, try one called Green Cure. It is an earth friendly product that is available on-line at Planet Natural.com. I do not recommend making up home remedy mixes as foliage burn damage is highly likely due to the concentrations of a single or multiple additives in the mix.
