My Rose Changed Color And Lost Its Fragrance

We had an extremely cold spell (-15 degrees) for several days this winter and a late snow in April. My Queen Elizabeth rose died back. We had to cut it back to about 2 feet tall. It just bloomed and the blooms are a lighter pink and it has lost all its fragrance. Will the fragrance come back? will the color deepen as the plant ages?

When environmental conditions improve, it should revert back to its typical color, bloom size, etc. Here in Texas, that can happen a lot during our long hot summers. It seems to be more common in roses with bi-color blooms here.
