It will help to keep the stems pruned regularly (about 3 inches from each stem) so the top is not so heavy. For the first time, you may need to trim about 8 inches all around. This will encourage new growth and blooming. Once you have lightened it, stake it with a strong stake. If the root ball is flat against the bottom of the container, you may need a taller one.
