Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comMy potted hibiscus is sprouting very large new leaves – at least twice as large as the existing leaves. The old leaves are small and wilted whereas the new leaves are large and are not wilted. Since it is winter I have been watering when the soil is dry and have not fertilized the plant for a couple of months.

Cool! Your plant is doing interesting things. Plants often do interesting things. Looks like all is well. I would guess that the roots have filled the pot space, so the plant is devoting all its energy to growing leaves.
