My Portulaca Buds Are Dying Instead Of Blooming

i have two portcula plants and they have buds but before buds bloom to flower they die

I suspect they are being overwatered. Moss rose does not need regular water, and when you do water, just water lightly because they have shallow roots. They also need lots of sunlight.
