Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comMy pink long stem rose bush’s long stems are falling off. I took one that still had buds on it in the vase now growing really good, it was growing perfectly fine. I got it last year. Not growing any new stems. My Red rose bush is doing great and is close to it. It does have a lot of thorns on it, but I don’t know if that’s normal. Please help; it’s dying!

It sounds like either some herbicide spray drift somehow got upon that rosebush or something was poured onto the soils by that rosebush that has burned the root system. Could a neighborhood dog have relieved itself upon the rosebush? Very strange that the canes would just fall off. Do the leaves wilt, turn brown and then the canes turn brown and fall off?
Some rosebushes have less thorns than others so could be perfectly normal.
