my magnolia tree

The tree that I have had for thirty years has been basically trouble free. I live a little north of Birmingham, Ala. This past year we had a pretty bad drought and now my Maggy has turned a lot of leaves brown. There are very few green leaves. What can I do to help her?

Browning of leaves could be due to high wind damage, frost damage or inadequate water during dry spells.

Since you do know that the rainfall lacking, this is the likely reason.
Wait and see how the tree reacts this spring.
Avoid pruning until after flowering.
